AMTA-NM Volunteer and Board Positions

Elected Chapter Positions

Volunteering with your state chapter is a distinct AMTA Member benefit that offers you the opportunity to connect within your community and learn and grow as a therapist and a leader. Chapter volunteers serve AMTA Members by hosting continuing education events, advocating on behalf of the massage therapy profession and more.

Chapter volunteers are elected annually to two-year terms by AMTA Members in each state. There are two board member positions, one elected each year and two delegate positions, also one elected each year. Note: in New Mexico, the delegate is not a voting member of the board.

Results of the election are announced at the Virtual Annual Meeting, which will be held Sunday April 7, 2024.
